Student, West Liberty - Salem Middle/ High School, Class of 2016,
A typical WL-S student is nice. We have all learned early on to have compassion for one another. The students are supportive of each other. When a new student comes to the school, he or she should be prepared to see a school full of positive support. We pray in school and still believe in morals. We are punished when bad and rewarded when caught doing something nice for another! Most of the student body is Christian. Many students attend church and youth group weekly. Some students play sports, and others play instruments or cheer, which are all important jobs to support each other. WL-S has a huge fan following of students for all sports. A new student will fall right into place if he or she is religious & has a good upbringing. Bad seeds don't last long at a school of excellence. The student expectations are set very high & most students are focused and driven to succeed!
