Adventist University schools some of the most productive graduates after finishing their schooling here. The Christian- based environment allows you to be around people with the same beliefs and morals as you. Adventist University is also conveniently right outside of Downtown Orlando.

The first reason is to gain a closer more individual relationship with God and learn to put your full faith in him, the next reason is to get a high quality level of education, and the third reason is be submersed in an environment that is so great and happy with a great social, physical, and mental aspect to it.

As a Seventh-Day Adventist growing up in a secular world, it is as a breath of fresh air to be added to an environment where peers and faculty alike worship the same creator. There is no question as to why one does or does not affiliate themselves with a certain group or scene, because everyone is in this together for the long run, until the Second Coming of our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Southern Adventist University provides an experience that I truly believe can not be replicated at any other university. Although the school itself moves at a fairly leisurely pace, bigger cities such as Chattanooga, Nashville, and Atlanta are all within a 2-hours drive. Students often drive to one of these cities for exciting weekend trips. Also, the school is so small (4,000 students) that it's easy to meet a lot of people and create great friendships. The best thing about Southern is that it provides a strong foundation for life. In reality, people can't just drink and party and barely slide by. Southern teaches students to become responsible adults. Since I've begun attending Southern, I've realized that even without the world's standard idea of fun, I can still have a fantastic college experience.
