Student, University of North Dakota, Class of 2018,
The University of North Dakota is located in the small city of Grand Forks. Although we live in a small community, students have many opportunities on campus to experience fun. One of the things that students can do for fun is attend weekend campus programming! These programs are put on by the University, and include all kinds of acts including but not limited to singers, comedians, activist rallies, social justice presenters, and hypnotist. here students can gather together and get to know new students, or have a nice night out with their friends and still having the potential to learn! Another thing that students at the University do for fun is attend UND Hockey games! With such a vibrant atmosphere and the most dedicated fan base for hockey in the nation, UND Hockey games are one of the best things at the University! Students can spend entire Friday and Saturday nights preparing for and attending Hockey games! Finally students can attend programs put on by RAs! RAs focus programs on social, academic, environmental wellness, and personal wellness. These programs are a lot of fun and can be on a small scale, such as the newly wed game for roommates, to large scale programs, like campus wide dances! These programs are excellent ways to grow in many dimensions in one life and to learn a little about yourself! Although Grand Forks is a small city and the University of North Dakota is small as well, there is a multitude of things to do on campus to have fun!
