The type of student in which should attend Jena High School is a very distinct type of student. If you attend my high school you do not have to be the brightest student ever. As long as you start on one of the athletic teams you should make it. Not all but most teachers at this school seem to give leeway to the athletes. If you are not athletic I hope you are good at learning own your own. Some like myself are good at dealing with what we are given and strive to go beyond to make the grades to go to college. We strive to make something of ourselves and get out of this small town.

For me to describe the type of student who should attend JHS, I would need to know what you meant by "type". I wouldn't think that a school could only accept students based on "type". Any youth who is under 18, should be able to attend JHS. We have the best teachers, guidance counselor, and volunteers. I've not seen any favoritism based on "type" and any discriminations based on "type". The school spirit is infectious and if you were to pay us a visit, you would see that we all are a team working together to make it through school and to make a difference in this world.
