Student, Lipscomb University, Class of 2020,
- private christian university
- high level education
- learning about your purpose and what God has specifically designed you to be
1). Everyone on campus is extremely friendly. You are constantly surrounded by down to earth people. You gain the ability to become close and make friends with people that you can tell truly care about you. Some of the sweetest people I've ever met in my life, I've met at Lipscomb. Everyone generally gets along with everyone and you rarely hear about any drama between anyone. 2) Lipscomb professors are the absolute best! Due to the size of the campus, they are able to give you their personal attention and you can get plenty of one-on-one time with them for academic problems. They are always willing to help you whenever you need it. They clearly show how much they care about their students and how important to them it is that everyone in their class succeeds. Lipscomb also has an Academic Success Center (which features a Writing Studio, Math Lab, Biology tutoring, etc) to help students that are struggling. Trust me when I say that you will be grateful that Lipscomb has those kinds of resources. It has honestly saved my life so many times and I know it has the done the same for my friends. 3) Lipscomb is truly a place to help you grow in your spiritual journey. A person dedicated to following Jesus can receive so much personal guidance from the faculty and even some of the upperclassmen at Lipscomb. Even if a person is not extremely close to God but wants to learn more about him, Lipscomb is the right place for that to happen. You're surrounded by people all wanting to live out their life by Christ, something that you can't say about most other universities.
I kind of touched on this on my last answer. First, if you are a Christian and want to grow in your faith, come to Lipscomb. There are so many events on campus that help you grow in your walk. Second, be a hard worker, ready to learn from the great teachers at school. Third, the location is perfect if you like music. With a five minute drive from downtown, there is always music going on. Whether it be coming out of the bars or out of Bridgestone Arena from a celebrity artist.
Someone should attend Lipscomb University because the campus is very friendly and warm, the professors are kind and understanding, and the staff do everything in their power to help students accomplish their goals.
The medical academics, and the academics all the way around is amazing. Everyone is down to earth, and family-like. You shouldn't feel out of place at Lipscomb. Everyone gets alone with everyone and there is always someone to listen to and help you through whatever you're going through.
The top reasons for someone to attend Lipscomb University for the great educational programs, Christian
environment, and its proximity to Downtown Nashville
1.) Amazing faculty and staff who become friends and mentors 2.) A small campus where everyone is close but not so small that it's smothering 3.) The opportunity to fall in love with God and to learn more about him
Lipscomb University provides a great, well-connected, intimate community for students who are looking to be more than just a number. If one is of a religious faith, Lipscomb helps provide growth in that personal area with guidance from professors, faculty, and peers alike. Lastly, Lipscomb is right outside of the heart of all Nashville, TN has to offer. The opportunities are countless.
Lipscomb will help you grow into the person you are meant to be. Lipscomb will give you the tools to reach any personal or professional goals you have Nashville is a great city to go to college in.
1) To get personal attention. As a small school Lipscomb has amazing faculty that can give one on one attention for academic help or even for personal problems. 2) For a Christian Education, which is mostly to be in a body of students dedicated to following Jesus. That community is something that cannot be replicated at a public school. 3) To get a good education. Lipscomb is growing and their programs are getting better. With Buildings being built and renovated all the time progress is always being made. The school is not stagnant- it is always looking to be better.
