Whitewright High School is located in Whitewright Texas, a small Texas town. And I believe like all other small towns in the great state of Texas, one of our most popular extracurricular activities would be football. It is so amazing that as soon as the boys walk out of the tunnel on a Friday night, our little town of 1,604 turns into a crowd of so much more! And as everyone knows, along with the football comes cheerleading. Being involved in this activity myself, it is not only a privilege to be able to cheer for out "boys of fall", but the friendships I have received and the lessons I have learned, will stay with me forever on this roller coaster called life. I believe the third most popular extra curricular activity would be the BETA club. This club I am also honored to be a part of, as it takes a lot of hard work and determination to receive the initiation into this national club. This club however, is more than just a group of friends having fun. This club motivates me to keep up my good grades, and inspires me to do more in the way of helping the community with community service. I recommend this club to any upcoming sophomore at our school, as this club will lead you to accomplish things you never dreamed possible! These three activities are only a small dent into the many clubs and sports teams a person can enter into at our school, but as with all extracurricular activities at our school, the more you give the more you receive!

Band, athletics, and theater arts are the most popular at my school. The activity i would recommend the most would have to be band. i have participated in band all four years of high school. Marching band really taught me how to work hard for something i could be proud of and how to be a leader. Since we were such a small band everyone had to be accountable for their contribution on both marching and sound. since my sophomore year i have held section leader positions, and i feel that i filled that job to the best of my abilities. During that i time i learned a lot about who i was, and my potential, and the kind of person and role model i wanted to be.
