It's naïve to assume that the typical high school student at Western Hills is one to be involved in every other extracurricular, maintains a high GPA, builds close relationships with their teachers, and every other characteristic that a perfect student would contain. Of the 800 students that walk the halls, 70% can say they work hard and put in effort to be a good student. The type of student who attends Western Hills should have a great deal of independence and dedication in order to be considered a student who is successful and involved. The teachers care; they care enough to help you if you put in effort that is. Every high school struggles with students who don't care, students finding themselves, and students who know their place. Western Hills is no exception to this stereotypical student body.
