There are many reasons one might want to attend Riverside City College, but the top three would be the diversity among the students which lets you interact with people from all over the world. Second, the teaching staff is beyond amazing, they want to help and that is exactly what you will get from every single professor. To many people Riverside City College is a joke. They think that because it is a community college it is not the same as actually paying full on tuition for a university. I have always thought the opposite. To me Riverside City College is the same as any other big university. They offer the same programs and teach exactly the same thing. I think someone should join Riverside City College to transfer out to a four year university, save money, and to get the chance to meet the wonderful staff. A student straight out of high school usually will end up going to a community college because they aren't sure what they want they want to major in or because they want to get their basic courses done and transfer to a four year university. Most of them aren't working either so what they want to do is save money not spend it. Lastly, RCC has great staff! They are willing to stay after hours and actually focus on you. The staff make everyone feel as if they are actually important.

Every student has a different goal in mind when it comes to their futures. Without a doubt, the number one reason to attend Riverside City College is for the cost. You can slash your debt in half by simply taking courses that transfer to the school of your choice. Reason two; this campus offers an amazing array of certification programs. For the student that is looking to be in the work field as soon as possible, this is a dream opportunity. The third and final reason that I would promote this college is for the flexibility of admission. For students like myself who found themselves out of school for various reasons (children, lack of funding, personal losses, etc.), the ability to apply to a school that will accept you when you are ready to attend is a gift beyond words. It is great to be in a large and diverse community, where every student has a unique story. We are all united with one common goal: education!

One reason would be that it's a bigger campus. Second reason would be, since it's bigger there are more instructors to take for just one subject. Where else where there aren't many options for just one class subject. Third reason would be that they provide you with the opportunities to apply for many programs that give you the advantage of getting priority registration dates, to visit different universities, and to get involved in activities that not many are aloud to do.

1) The Riverside City College District has some of the best professors Southern California has to offer. Many of the professors have doctorates in their fields, are tenured, and are always willing to assist students with their studies. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Just ask them! 2) Our student government gets students involved. We don't offer dorms or on-campus housing, but there are plenty of activities almost every week that get students active and excited to be at college...the REAL college experience! 3) The cafeteria food is Grade-A material. They are certified with an A from the health department, as displayed in the window by the door. They have a menu of items to choose from, all of which are great. Everything from taquitos to pizza to sandwich wraps, they have it. If they don't, ask and they'll probably make it on the spot for you! And it's always reasonably priced. Only $0.99 for a full bean and cheese burrito (my favourite!).
