The type of student who may find themselves not fitting in well at Stetson and even struggling is the type of person who wants college to be a cake walk. Stetson requires that you actively participate in your courses, which requires mandatory attendance to classes (aka participation points), and a lot of out of the classroom work. Class structures are mainly participation based so you will not find the teacher lecturing or just giving a powerpoint. When you come to class you must be ready to apply what you already taught yourself at home. For this reason, a student who is looking for an easy four years or to be able to sit in class and listen to an hour long lecture would not fit in well at Stetson.
