Student, Central Magnet School, Class of 2016,
There are many diverse extracurricular activities offered at Central Magnet, but the most popular seem to be First Priority, sports, and clubs associated with foreign languages. The clubs associated with foreign languages would be my first recommendation because they help to expand students' viewpoints on the world. There are billions of people in thousands of villages in hundreds of countries that most students are never presented with. Being in a foreign language based program helps to broaden the usual, unsympathetic tunnel vision to an understanding and educated view on other cultures.
