This student would not be a good fit for JHS if they hated being immersed the school culture. Not necessarily an introvert, but someone who actively pushes themselves away from the activities, or away from achieving the best education they can get here.

While Jackson is a school that can make many people feel included and welcome, if a student wants more one-on-one time with a teacher in order to better understand the material and receive a better education, then this would not be the school for them. One of the biggest criticisms I have about the school is how focused a lot of the staff is on test grades and passing, and not on the individual's learning needs. The larger class sizes and the large focus on standardized test scores makes it difficult for students to get a well-rounded education that will help prepare them for their future.

DO NOT attend Henry M. Jackson if you are prone to anxieties speaking in front of people or taking tests.
