Shenandoah University is a great campus. It is a small school with small classes so all the professors know you by name. You can walk around campus and your instructor will smile and ask how you are and be genuine. Not only is it small, but it beautiful with a great location. We are located in Winchester, Virginia just down the road from Skyline Drive. The fall weather and makes the scenery jaw-dropping. And finally, SU is a top university in all of the colleges within. We have top ratings and top students. All in all, I believe that no one can be unhappy on the Shenandoah University campus.

I feel a primary reason someone should attend Shenandoah University, would be to get their education. of course, it's college and that sounds like the obvious. But many people get caught up in where they attend, the extra's that are offered, and sometimes forget why they are in school until they are unfortunately on the lines of not being able to come back. Another reason people should attend Shenandoah is because of our unique community. For the most part, we are close-knit, faculty and staff actually know you by name, and you're not just a number. Having a support system, or a group of friends, and just a community in general, that helps you while you're away from home is essential. One last reason someone should attend Shenandoah is because it's an experience you cannot get anywhere else. Everybody has their own college experiences, whether it be here, across the country, in the same state, or even all the way on the other the other side of the world; however, there's no exact experience like the one Shenandoah can give you. You'll be challenged, you'll grow and develop into the person you're going to become, and on top of that you'll meet amazing and great awesome people.

Shenandoah is a beautiful school located in Winchester. They just recently opened another campus in Loudon, making the commute for some students even easier. They have a large variety of programs to chose from, including graduate programs. I will be attending the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program this fall, and am beyond excited to be a part of Shenandoah University. They focus on the students and they are always open to ideas about learning from their students. I have been told that there is a big emphasis on team work and the group rather than individual success.

1-The campus is smaller which means class sizes are small and the student gets more one on one time with the professors. The professors are genuinely invested in you and want to see you succeed. 2-Lots to do off campus. If you are in to the outdoors you can go hiking, kayaking or swimming in nearby rivers and lakes. If you want to stay in town there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and movie theater's. There is also opportunities to participate in many different intramural sports. 3-All freshman take a Global Initiative class which gives the student opportunities to learn about different cultures. Students are given a choice of 8 or ten different classes to choose from. This class seems to be extremely popular.

Shenandoah's science, medical, and musical programs are among the elite of the country. The small student-to-teacher ratio ensures students will not be another "face in the crowd." The professors genuinely care about the students succeeding in their chosen fields.

1)Shenandoah has the IM learning program where $200 is added to tuition in exchange for use of a laptop and i-pad that have all of the programs students need to complete their coursework. Everyone has the same technology making working together easier and eliminating a lot of confusion when technical issues arise. 2) The staff is so accessible and easy to get along with, I don't know of many universities where the dean has met with every one of their students personally. 3) The school is constantly adding new buildings and features and updating. I'm in a brand new facility right now and it's so nice

You should attend Shenandoah University because the school offers many opportunities to travel and see the world (for free!) through the school's Global Citizenship Project, be part of a diverse campus, and take advantage of the many groups and clubs offered on campus that allow you to meet new people and help out the community.
