Student, Byron Center High School, Class of 2016,
The three most popular extracurricular activities at Byron Center High School are athletics, band, and Pride Pack (a school spirit club). As a student, I would recommend participating in any sports team or being a member of Pride Pack. Having played on both the varsity softball and basketball teams, I can say that being on a sports team is the best experience a high school student can obtain. Not only does one learn valuable lessons about hard work, being a teammate, and time management, but it is also an opportunity to make friends and learn to communicate with others. I would also recommend being a member of Pride Pack because it is a fun group that is all about promoting school spirit. Being a member requires students to be involved in school sporting events and volunteer work. It teaches students the value of volunteer work and that helping others is very rewarding.
