Most students at this school like exploring the city of Seattle. There are many things to do around such a big city. In this big city, Starbucks was founded which is a very popular destination for most students. They drink lots of coffee. Finally, when it is cold and raining outside, students will watch TV shows together in their dorms.

The top three fun activities that my friends and I do at Seattle Pacific University would be nerf gun wars, playing card games and intramurals. Especially when it is cold or dark out, finding entertaining things to do inside are highly preferred. One day a couple of guys started a nerf gun war with other girls and me on my floor which turned out to be extremely fun and made the cold days not so bad. During our spring quarter, we found a card game that my friends and I became obsessed with called nerts that we would play hours on end. Lastly for overall fun year-round, playing intramurals is always fun for those who want to be active. Throughout the year and making new friends, it became more fun to make teams with friends and signing up for random intramurals.

It's a small campus so getting off campus is a must. mini roadtrips to Portland and Vancouver BC are on everyone's To do list. And camping is a favorite of every student regardless of whether or not they are a native to the PNW

One thing students like to do at Seattle Pacific University is to go and cheer for the basketball team. Another thing we like to do is go to Fremont and get food and just hang out at the different variety of stores. A final thing to do is just sit around the grass and play sports and hang out outside.

SPU is very community based, so gathering friends and doing pretty much anything is a huge pastime. People are also very apt to take a stroll into Fremont, or hop on a bus to Pikes Place. There is also a wonderful tradition of dumpster diving at Top Pot donuts, which makes for a bonding adventure with a sweet reward.

Because Seattle Pacific University is located in a beautiful part of Seattle, there are many things that students at Seattle Pacific University do for fun. Downtown Seattle is only a fifteen minute drive from the school campus; students here love going to Pike's Place Market to have some coffee, see the flying fish, walk along the waterfront, or ride on the new Ferris wheel. Seattle Pacific University is also located close to a small town called Queen Anne. During the weekends, many SPU students love walking to this beautiful town and enjoying the small shops, and local restaurants up there. Lastly, Seattle Pacific University is just a small bridge across a town called Fremont. This beautiful town is always beautiful at night-trees are decorated with lights, and the whole town is bright. SPU students enjoy walking over to this town to tour the local chocolate factory, shop in antique stores, or do homework in many of the local coffee shops centralized there. All in all, there are many towns and cities that are always filled with excitement that surround this campus.

In general, students will normally go for coffee, go to parks like Kerry Park, Gasworks Park, or Discovery Park, or go hiking!

Number 1: Hang out at Kerry Park. The Seattle skyline is impressive. It's even better from the top of Queen Anne Hill with an incomparable view of the Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center, and the Puget Sound. At night, with the soft glow of the buildings and the salty sea breeze, there's no better place to be. Number 2: Molly Moons. Three(ish) words: Honey-Lavender Ice-cream. If you haven't had it, you haven't lived. Three Molly Moons exist--one of them is just a short walk away from SPU. The Balsamic Strawberry is equally exciting. Expect to find a line when you arrive. Number 3: Fugitive. Nothing beats the adrenaline of stealthily sprinting (or at least trying to) from Queen Anne all the way back to your dorm without being caught by marauding gangs of sophomores and juniors. It's possible, but beware. Those streets can seem quiet and safe, but your hunters know all the tricks.
