Student, East Canton High School, Class of 2016,
I love East Canton, I wouldn't trade the small town life for anything. I wouldn't want to attend a larger school (anything above 1,000 students Pre-K through 12) because what's lost is the relationship between not only student to student relationship but also the relationship between students and their teachers. One of our English teachers hosts an ACT boot camp at her house every year. Students drive out and spend the evening learning about the ACT in order to better themselves when they take the test, engaging with friends, and eating typical cook out food. If I had the choice I would definitely choose East Canton. There's no other school that you could get this incredible learning environment of one guidance counselor, one principal, and one superintendent who can name every student in the high school and even some in the other wings (middle school and elementary school). I am so privileged to attend East Canton high school.
