Student, Jamestown High School, Class of 2015,
The three most popular extracurricular activities at my school would have to be being on a sports team, being a member of o-crew, and being in a national honor society. I would definitely recommend joining a sports team because it is a great way to meet new people, gain new skills, and make long-lasting friendships. O-crew is a club that helps freshman and new students get used to the high school life by helping them figure out where their classes are, helping them with studying tips, and helping them make relationships. It is a great club and I would recommend it to anyone who is lively and outgoing and to anyone that likes helping others and seeing others succeed. Lastly, I would recommend trying to join and stay in a national honor society. Even though these honor societies can be hard to get into, the reward is totally worth it. As a member you get to help out in the community and at different middle and elementary school. Being a member of something like this also looks very good on college applications.
