Some people may not enjoy UT Austin because of its large student body. Sometimes it is easy to feel alone and lost in the crowd with no support; however there are plenty of ways to find support and a home at UT.

If you are looking for just a trade school or to heavily specialize in one area, UT is not for you. UT creates well rounded students, so there are a lot of core classes unrelated to your interest that are required to get a degree.

Those who aren't ready to take on responsibility or work hard should not attend UT Austin. Students must be diligent and hardworking or they will not succeed at UT.

Any student who wants an easy degree. You have to work hard here. Also any student who is not open minded because there is incredible diversity at UT.

Any student who does not have the passion to learn and have fun should not attend. This reason is pretty obvious.
