Describe the type of student who should not attend Clover High School and explain why.

Anonymous, Student, Clover High School, Class of 2016

Clover High School is the only high school in Clover, South Carolina. This means that we have an abundance of school spirit, from the current students, alumni and community. CHS has three to four spirit weeks a year supporting the football, basketball, baseball and softball players and the student section for each type of sporting event is always packed, no matter the outcome of the previous games. Not only do the students and community support sporting events, but they also support the arts programs on campus. The state championship Clover Choraliers preform six sold out concerts a year and the CHS marching band has supporters who even travel with them to out of town competitions. With the help of small community businesses and ticket sales, the school just raised $32,000 for St. Jude's research hospitable through a program we call "Womanless Beauty Pageant" which was attended by over 2,000 students and members of the community. It's events like these that are a true example of the love the people of Clover and the students have for Clover High School. Students who attend CHS should be willing and ready to support the school and community by getting involved in clubs, and supporting our sports teams and arts organizations. Almost every teacher at Clover is heavily involved in something outside of class, and they will encourage all of their students to get involved. If a student only cares about going to class, passing and getting through high school without much participation or school spirit, Clover is not the place for them.
