The student who should not attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison is a student with a closed mind. You do not need to be number one in your high school class, you do not need to have the highest ACT score, and you do not need to have the largest number of AP credits to do well at Madison. If a student comes in with an open mind, he or she can succeed. An open mind will allow the student to learn and apply the most effective methods needed for them to succeed. A student with a closed mind will find it hard to change their ways when they inevitably have trouble in their studies. If they do not change their ways, it will be very difficult for them to succeed.
