Due to the lack of competitive sports and conventional high school extracurricular activities at my school (such as choir or band), many students have decided to create their own clubs. My school is full of wacky, creative kids: some with a knack for preforming, others with interests in cosplay-ing any day of the week and some who like to play sports with unlikely rules. The most popular extracurricular activities one could get into at Early College are the Anime Club, the M.I.L.C. Club and the Quidditch team. The Anime Club is notorious for putting on crazy performances for the school, especially flash mobs, and group sing alongs; some members will even dress up as different anime or movie characters on a random Wednesday just for fun! The M.I.L.C. Club stands for "majorly importance life competitions" because the name "Sports Club" was already taken. This club specializes in creating unique sport-games like hand-soccer and banana-ball (which is very similar to football). Finally there's the Quidditch team: we are the only high school in Texas to have a real Quidditch team. The try-outs are harsh, the players are dedicated and the games are always packed with a roaring audience. Over all i would recommend joining (or at least attempting to join) the Quidditch team! Its the only sport we have at Early College, which makes it the best sport at ECAS.
