Soccer club, student council, and key club. I would recommend soccer club because I love playing soccer and the environment is so nice.

The three most popular, engaging and most well known after school clubs in my school- East Career Technical Academy, that everyone would always hear about when passing down the halls are the one and only DECA (Distribution Education Clubs Association), HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America), and Key Club. These are the clubs where community service is not a forcible, persuasive thing you have to do, but rather a fun and exciting time to hang out with other group members and to just let loose and meet different types of interesting people out there in the real world. These clubs are the most recognizable after school clubs due to students getting a one in a life time traveling tickets to another state for state competition, especially for HOSA members with their competitive medical criteria. The ones who were ranked got the opportunity to have a deserving medal and a certificate. Not one person in these clubs would dread about having to go to the after school meetings, because it is honestly one of the many ways to get the taste of an awesome High School experience.

I have been a devoted member in NHS (National Honor Society) through out my years in High School. From all the events and activities we planned, I was willing to participate because of the thrill and satisfaction I would get after that long day of service. I do have to admit that one of the events required a lot of strength and a determined attitude; for example, cleaning out all the dump in the Wetlands Park down at North Las Vegas under the blazing hot sun for 5 hours straight. Although it was a rather excruciating, painful and tiresome experience, I got to experience what a great and satisfying outcomes were when you put a lot of effort in teamwork especially with a bunch of hardworking people. The place turned out pretty nice and neat, compared to the first time we walked through the park. You could finally see the beauty of what nature can bring; from the bunnies scurrying down their burrows to the trees that brings life-enhancing the wildlife. I recommend attending National Honor society because of the many opportunities that you can have, and the many simple things that you could be missing out on, like enjoying the essence of freedom if you had the chance in seeing the afterlife of the Wetlands Park.

The three most popular extracurricular activities at East Career and Technical Academy is student council, soccer, and deca. What I would recommend to someone is fccla because I am a member of the club and it is involved with my education program. I would also recommend soccer because I like soccer club and it can be for any programs that are in the school. I would also recommend sol because I'm in that club and it can be for every program that their is in that school as well.

The three most popular extracurricular activities at East Career Technical Academy (ECTA) would be Student Organization of Latinos (SOL), HOSA, and DECA. I would personally recommend SOL and HOSA because I am involved in both and appreciate the activities and community service both clubs offer. Along with the fact that both clubs give students a chance to give back to their community, they also give students an opportunity to gain skills needed in their field of study at ECTA. For example, HOSA focuses on medical information and competitions which give the chance for students in the medical program to receive additional information about the medical field.

While all extracurricular activities at my school are equally popular if I had to chose only three they would be DECA, HOSA, and Key Club. Out of those three I would recommend DECA because I feel that the club really breaks you out of your shell. It gets you to think out the box and show your creativity. On top of all that the advisors are extremely encouraging and want the best for you. As a school we have racked up many awards and plenty of students have placed 1st in the state competition and have also gotten the opportunity to outside of state competitions.

At ECTA, the most poplar clubs are cheerleading, which is considered a club because we do not have official sports teams, key club and science club. Those are also definitely the three clubs I would recommend as well.
