Would you recommend attending Woodrow Wilson High School if you had the choice? Why or why not?

I would absolutely recommend attending Woodrow. This is not my home school, so I chose to attend this school myself. It challenges you academically, while still providing help when needed. It allows for a family atmosphere, and a very safe environment. If anyone is looking for a place to be able to call their second home, Woodrow does a very good job of that. The teachers want us to succeed, and to be the best we can be when we leave their "nest."

Woodrow Wilson High School is the first school I would recommend to others. It is a tremendously talented high school that has a large variety. Intellectuals, athletes, every student at Wilson exceeds in some way. Wilson has a friendly atmosphere where one can always find a friend when they need one. Even the teachers are spectacular, always ready to help students with their studies, advice in daily lives, even being that friend when a student needs someone to comfort them. Woodrow Wilson High School is definitely unique in this way, and deserves a recommendation.

I would, it is a very good school despite a small population of students that can be easily avoided.

I would most definitely recommend my high school because we not only have teachers that are more than capable to do their jobs but you learn real life skills and it is definitely an open place where you can express yourself through your academics and extracurricular activities. I wouldn't say that my school is small and tight knit because it is one of the largest schools in DCPS but its a great thing for students because it gives students a place to grow literally and figuratively.

No. I wish I could say I would, but I can't. The school doesn't have many challenging classes and many of the honors classes leave students bored. If a student is looking for a school where they can be challenged intellectually, Wilson is not the place. It has it's good parts though. Most of the English teachers are friendly and are willing to help. The music and business classes are fun and one can learn loads of interesting things in them. The only redeeming thing when it comes to academic challenges is the First College Program.

I would totally recommend attending Woodrow Wilson High School because it is a very safe and energetic environment. The students there do an excellent job of making you feel at home. You feel like you are part of one big family. The Bruin pride is so contagious, I am sure anyone would love to attend.
