They are very energetic. We love to have fun outside of the classroom, but class consists of hard work! We work from bell to bell in every class and our test scores are great. They improve every year. A student at AHS should be willing and ready to learn.

I think Ashland High School is different from any other school that I've visited in Mississippi. We, unlike other schools I believe, are always striving to excel. With that being said, the typical student that roams up and down the hallways of Ashland High would be a student whom strives to better themselves, a students whom carries themselves with their head held high, and a student who treats others as they would want to be treated. The type of person whom should attend Ashland High School is a person who would want to succeed in life and become a better person.

Typically an AHS student would be rude, disrespectful, and loud. Not the best person to be around when there's a big test coming up, right? On a more serious note, we're a really small school so not only does negative behavior travel, but it also lingers. A typical student here would also unconditionally love basketball. It's our biggest sport here. We should someone not able to be corrupted attend AHS. They should exert a positive influence in our community and school. We need a new member in our fictional club (of which I am a fictional member).
