Out of the hundreds of people I met so far during my first semester here at UTSA, I can honestly say that everyone seems to be very kind and positive, along with being very involved with campus organizations. Honestly, The University of Texas at San Antonio houses the people who know how cheap UTSA is. The tuition is fairly low compared to other colleges. Most students don't really interact as much and the campus is that lively. Students mostly keep to themselves and stick to their old high school friends.

Typical student seems to be semi-stylish, lots of skin showing since San Antonio is extremely hot 10 months out of the year. Hoodies are everywhere due to the arctic temperatures in the classroom. The hispanic population is majority at UTSA so most programs will be in english and spanish.
