Most MBA coursework at Walsh College is completed in a hybrid format, as courses mix online and in-person instruction. Selected courses are available entirely online. There are a total of 15 required courses for 42 credits.
Prior to the start of classes, MBA students are required to participate in a one-day, on-campus orientation that includes a program overview along with team-building and networking opportunities.
Unlike many MBA programs, the MBA coursework at Walsh College is designed to be completed in a predetermined sequence, with each class building on the next to train students in required skills. With an additional four to six courses, MBA students at Walsh College can add a Master of Science degree to further specialize in a particular field. Currently, dual MBA/MS programs are offered in finance, management, marketing and information technology leadership.
Walsh College bases its admissions to the MBA program on a combination of academic record from previous degree programs and accomplishments following graduation from college. There is no GMAT or GRE score required.
