Kyle Jaster, Attended 7th & 8th Grades
I attended middle school at Sant Bani and loved it. The school is very small, and set in the woods of New Hampshire. The school is associated with an Ashram, and only vegetarian food is allowed on campus. That said, many students come from families not associated with the school's religious association, and the community is very open and welcoming to all students and families.
Classes are tiny but this means each student gets lots of individualized attention. Everyone in the school is on a first name basis (including teachers). For me this meant that I felt more comfortable to explore concepts and to challenge teachers. The drawback of course is that it can be a bit socially claustrophobic.
Sant Bani's teachers are incredibly passionate, and deeply invested in their students.
