The students at UHD are very creative and innovative. In high school they were the students involved in Student Council or the newspaper committee. It seems that art and creative endeavors are fully supported here. If you love a small community and enjoy trying new things or being creative UHD is for you. If you want a closer relationship with faculty and professors you can definitely find it here. It is a commuting school but it feels more like a home.

We are like any other high school graduate. The only difference is that UHD is a commuter school. Therefore, there are a number of older adult students as well as younger students that are still living at home with their parents.
