Desert Ridge high School attracts students from all backgrounds, but the type of student that would excel would be one of high merit and who challenges themselves to succeed and try new things. These students would laugh at the face of failure and want to cause a positive impact on society. However, Desert Ridge is not a high end society of the elite, we embrace our faults and build upon them into a greater being.
The type of student to attend Desert Ridge High School is someone who is confident, outgoing, and energetic. Desert Ridge is a school who takes pride in their work and accomplishments. Therefore the students who attend are always delighted to support each other academically, during sports events, and throughout the community. For example students are always happy to tutor another, sit in the student section at sporting events, and help out locally by participating in food drives for those in need. But what makes Desert Ridge so unique is the diverse group of students already attending. I believe Desert Ridge isn't for just one type of student but being confident, outgoing, and energetic are three great qualities to have.
The type of student who should attend DRHS is one who values education and takes pride in their school and community and loves participating in school events.
