Well-versed in voice, music theory, popular song styles and poetic writing, I can definitely help you expand in your musical and creative endeavors. I studied voice and jazz arranging at Berklee College of Music, and then earned my Master's of Music degree in music composition from Cal State LA. I have sung pop, jazz and theatre music in Los Angeles, New York, and across the US and Canada. I've appeared on the Jay Leno Show, and have sung in many local music venues, such as the Troubadour and Luna Park. I have won multiple awards for my songs in internationally acclaimed "I HATE MUSICALS" - a short film musical (now on iTunes). My musical theatre works has been been presented in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. I am a proud member of CMASH, a composer collective in San Francisco, and I collaborate with Ann Moss, Liam Wade, and Arnold Margolin. My song Practice Your Flamenco was recently recorded at George Lucas' Skywalker Sound, and will be featured on Ann Moss's new CD, Currents. *** Lesson Details *** As a teacher and coach, my aim is to inspire you to be the best you can be. My lessons always include a warm-up, song study and performance. I truly enjoy guiding students of all ages to really take their musical aspirations seriously - and have lots of fun doing it! Also, I want you to be apart of choosing what songs you'd like to study. I can transpose any song to fit your voice type and range. I will provide lyric sheets, and for guitarists, chord charts.
