My name is Phyllis. I have been in education for 35 years. Currently, I am teaching part-time 4th grade social studies at a private school in Austin. I have taught in grades 1-6 and have been a Spanish bilingual teacher in many of these grades. I have also been a reading specialist working with struggling readers in grades 1-5. My experience extends to haven been an assistant principal for five years and a Program Coordinator for Field Experiences at the University of Texas at Austin.
