Nakiarah J.'s Full Profile
I speak Russian on an intermediate level. I love math and everything that involves numbers. As the first generation in my family to attend college I have a strong desire to perform to the best of my ability in my education. My experience as a tutor has been successful. I was able to help 3 students in my class to obtain at least a B in our pre-calculus class. while tutoring can sometime be challenging it is at my best interest to get those around me and in need of help you understand the concepts that may be misleading to them. My approach to tutoring begins with me first allowing the student to explain to me what it is that they understand and then I give feed back. Next I allow the student to actually write out what it is that they understand then I show them where the made an error. Lastly I solve the problem how I would solve it for myself. Fun Facts: As a high school student i enjoyed every math class my favorite part was getting to see my final grade rise pass the limit of 100% four times. throughout high school i earned a 116% in math class.
