Nida D.

I graduated with honors from Georgia Tech this past May with a major in Biology and minor in Spanish. I'm currently pursuing my masters degree in Neurobiology and Behavior before applying to medical schools in the upcoming summer. I hope to enter the Fall 2015 medical school class and do a joint MD/MPH degree. I've tutored and taught for many years now. I just finished teaching a group of 15 adults the 5-subject material for the GED exam. I also taught freshman biology labs at Georgia Tech. Most of these experiences were voluntary, but through them I've come to learn that teaching is a passion for me! It is very important for me be open minded when it comes to tutoring. Having taught multiple grade levels and students with various educational backgrounds, I've discovered that every student is different and has a different style of learning. I like to incorporate this idea when making my lesson plans. Also, I believe that I can learn from my students. Therefore, I do my best to not only help them understand the content, but also gear it towards their future goals as well.Fun Facts: I absolutely love traveling and learning about new cultures! I've lived on another continent and have also traveled all over the United States. I also enjoy dancing.

Frog Tutoring says

In 2009, Roland Omene, a TCU bio-chemistry graduate, founded Frog Tutoring. The company originated in Fort Worth, TX, and is quickly expanding to cities all over the country. Frog Tutoring was founded under the belief that all students deserve tutoring regardless of age. We believe the first step in successful tutoring is finding the “right” tutor. That is why we only hire the top students and graduates from local colleges in the area. Each one of our well-trained tutors specializes in at least one area of expertise and is eager to aid in the academic success of the students they tutor. Frog Tutors are not just intelligent individuals, but role models who inspire their students to achieve success both academically and personally. - See more at: http://frogtutoring.com/about_us#sthash.ov47ISCO.dpuf
