Austin graduated from Yale University in 2012 with a double major in History and Theatre Studies. His final thesis in history focused on the cross-cultural interaction in the American West. Over the past five years, Austin has gained expertise teaching in group settings and one-on-one lessons. He tutors students in subjects including English, History, Mathematics, the SAT, and the ACT. Austin scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and the ACT, as well as on the Math Level 2 and Biology Subject Tests. He also was National Merit Scholar. He enjoys getting to know his students' likes and dislikes so he can tailor unique lesson plans that are enjoyable and use the student's time effectively. When not tutoring, Austin works as a professional actor and enjoys reading books, watching movies, and trips to the beach.
