I am a senior biology major at Howard University. Throughout college I have been featured on the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List. After graduation I plan to attend medical school and earn my Masters of Business Administration. I aspire to become a Neonatologist, open my own practice and health clinic for the under-served community. I would also like to participate in Doctors Without Borders sometime during my career as a physician. While in high school, I engaged in various tutoring groups that focused on teaching and reinforced all science subjects. Once I came to college, I anticipated having a similar experience, which came about during my junior year. During this time I volunteered teaching elementary students at Bancroft Elementary during an after school program. Therefore, being a part of Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to continue to help students excel throughout their academic careers! Every student is different and their approach to learning is unique to them. Therefore, I feel it necessary to approach every student from a different perspective. I recognize their learning style and adjust my teaching style to fit them. I also feel it my responsibility to get them to ask questions until they fully understand the material, provide them with great study tactics, and positive encouragement to be a successful student!Fun Facts: I have a burning passion for the art of dance. Anytime I have the time, I engage in some form of dancing. Dancing is my outlet and the way in which I express my emotions and tell my story. I am also the oldest of four and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I love kids and I have a youth praise dance team I manage.
