I am a sophomore Microbiology and Immunology major at the University of Miami. When I graduate I hope to go to medical school somewhere in New York City. My ultimate goal is to open my own dermatology practice. While in high school, I was elected treasurer of the National Honors Society. This organization allowed me to have the opportunity to tutor students throughout the school in many different subject areas. During this time, I also provided tutoring services to several middle school students in my neighborhood. Now that I am working with Frog Tutoring, I am excited about mentoring and tutoring students once again. As a child, I was fortunate enough to have teachers that were encouraging and willing to help me reach my full potential. This background provided me with the tools that I feel are essential to tutoring. I approach all sessions with a positive attitude and an interest in each student's individual needs. I feel that it is my responsibility to not only teach students content, but to also provide them with study and test taking skills that will benefit them in all academic areas. Fun Facts: One fun fact people quickly learn about me is that I love to swim. I have been swimming for the past 15 years and jump at any opportunity to get in the pool. My younger sister and I were raised in a small beach town in New Jersey. I hope to one day become SCUBA certified so I can enjoy the beautiful sea life here in Miami.
