Casey W.

I am a first year student at Texas Christian University. I went to high school in Hutchinson, KS where I was involved with everything from Thespians to Student Body President to sports teams. I also attended Hutchinson Community College while going to Hutch High. I have been tutoring for 7 years, ranging from reading with the neighbor girl down the road to working with Hutch Juco athletes to maintain grades. I have done both youth tutor volunteer and mentoring, as well as peer tutoring and coaching. I believe a few keys to finding success in life, in and out of the classroom, are confidence, creativity, and problem solving. When I tutor I try to reinforce these ideas by teaching the student how to find answers by thinking outside the box and using other knowledge to think a problem through. I also use different chunking tactics to help build up confidence while teaching valuable skills for the student to use. Fun Facts: It doesn't take long for people to learn that I love sports! I take pride in everything I play and all my teams that I support! I love playing a pick up game of football or volleyball with my friends, or catching a college game on TV. I also love theatre and the entertainment world!

Frog Tutoring says

In 2009, Roland Omene, a TCU bio-chemistry graduate, founded Frog Tutoring. The company originated in Fort Worth, TX, and is quickly expanding to cities all over the country. Frog Tutoring was founded under the belief that all students deserve tutoring regardless of age. We believe the first step in successful tutoring is finding the “right” tutor. That is why we only hire the top students and graduates from local colleges in the area. Each one of our well-trained tutors specializes in at least one area of expertise and is eager to aid in the academic success of the students they tutor. Frog Tutors are not just intelligent individuals, but role models who inspire their students to achieve success both academically and personally. - See more at: http://frogtutoring.com/about_us#sthash.ov47ISCO.dpuf
